After you submit the contact form, we'll schedule a brief phone consultation. This conversation allows us to get to know each other and begin shaping your session. We’ll talk about your family, what you’re drawn to, and how you hope to remember this season of life. You don’t need to have a clear vision yet. Most clients don’t. My role is to guide you. This call ensures your session is thoughtfully designed from the very beginning and that you feel fully confident moving forward.
The Planning &
WARDROBE APPOINTMENT
4-6 weeks before session
Once your session is reserved, we will schedule your planning and wardrobe appointment. This is where everything comes together. We will design the look and feel of your session, coordinate wardrobe for each family member, and explore available pieces from the client wardrobe if desired. Every detail is considered ahead of time so that your session feels cohesive, refined, and effortless. You will arrive knowing exactly what to expect, with nothing left to guess or worry about.

Your session is designed to be relaxed, guided, and enjoyable. My professional hair and makeup team will prepare you so you feel confident and beautiful, while I create an environment where natural connection can unfold. Throughout the session, I provide gentle direction and flattering guidance, ensuring you look your best without ever feeling stiff or unnatural. The result is a collection of images that feel authentic, connected, and timeless.
The Viewing &
Ordering APPOINTMENT
2-3 weeks after session
Once your images are ready, you’ll return to the studio to see them for the first time. This is one of the most meaningful parts of the experience. Together, we will select your favorite portraits and design custom artwork for your home. I will guide you through every option, helping you choose pieces that will be enjoyed daily and preserved for generations. Your images are not meant to live on a screen. They are meant to be seen, held, and remembered.

You can book a single session or choose Bump to Birthday to beautifully preserve your baby’s first year from maternity through first birthday. Many St. Louis families love the ease of documenting it all.

planNING your session
Once you’re booked, you’ll receive a short Getting to Know You questionnaire so I can learn more about your family and vision.
You’ll also have access to my Client Dashboard with helpful guides to prepare for your St. Louis maternity, newborn, and family photography session. Including what to wear and how to create a relaxed, natural experience. Everything is designed to make your session feel simple, so you can feel confident and stress-free.

DAY OF your session
It's time to relax and have fun! While I take care of capturing the moments. This is where you get to be happy and joyful while loving on that baby bump.
Outdoor St. Louis maternity photography sessions start 1-2 hours before sunset and last about 45 min. At home indoor lifestyle sessions start around 10:00 am to get the best lighting indoors. These are the perfect session times to get the photos you've dreamed of!

Two weeks after your session, you’ll enjoy an in-home viewing party to see your images for the first time and design your custom artwork collection. Each collection includes digital files plus a print credit to begin displaying your favorite moments in your home.
From albums to wall art, you’ll be guided through selecting timeless pieces designed to live beautifully in your home for years to come.

Your baby’s first year goes by in a blink. And there’s already so much on your plate, so let’s make capturing it easy. With Bump to Birthday, your baby’s first year is beautifully preserved, from maternity to first birthday.

- Maternity sessions are typically 45 minutes. The perfect time to get what we need & not get tired.
- Newborn sessions are up to 1.5 hours. Plenty of time for diaper changes and extra feedings.
- Family sessions are typically 45 minutes. Enough to capture what we need. No bored dads & kids.
- Maternity & Family sessions are typically outdoor, but we do in-studio instead when preferred.
- Lifestyle Newborn sessions are done in the comfort of your home or in our studio.
- You’ll have access to my client dashboard to help plan what you’ll wear and start thinking about how you want to display your new favorite photos in your home.
